Mike takes a look at some of the hottest and most hyped cards in Avacyn Restored and speculates about what their secondary market value will become in the future.
Last week I talked about two of the standout cards in Avacyn Restored,
with an emphasis on the role of Restoration Angel in the
new Standard, as well as a short aside on the miracle mechanic. Today, I
want to continue my analysis by looking at the two most controversial
effects to be printed this spring...
Richard Bland takes us through a Cube draft on Magic Online. He shares some comprehensive thoughts about both the picks and the games, and talks us through each step of the way! If you're looking to improve your Limited game, this is the article series for you!
Jeremy Neeman discusses the fine
art of mulliganing, with reference to both Limited and Constructed. It's
sometimes said that knowing when to mulligan is one of the areas average
players are worst at. Luckily, Jeremy is here to help with examples, tips and much
more.
Today, I'm
going to talk about Avacyn Restored in Limited - what's important in sealed and
in draft, what does the format look like, and how to avoid some of the pitfalls.
Then I'm going to take a look at an interesting Standard decklist with some
brand new Avacyn Restored cards in it!
Avacyn Restored will soon hit the shelves of game stores everywhere and
already players are buzzing about its outstanding potential, both
limited and constructed-wise. The set features a handful of
interesting cards and I suggest we take a quick look over these and try
to predict how impactful they will prove in the world of 60 card decks.
To my mind, most of these are genuine deckbuilding traps, with only a
few standing out as true Standard gems. If you're curious to find out
which is which, join me in this analysis.
