So if I control a Boros Reckoner and my opponet controls one as well, then they trade. If neither of them have first strike, would the person who has inicitive be able to deal his three damage to the opponets Reckoner, killing it before it deals damage, or would both deal at the same time and die at the same time?
I love playing Red decks more
than anything else in Magic. Whenever I play Red decks, I always try to find
answers for as many things as possible in the format. So, I have decided to
attempt to build mono-red for this Standard format, and I think it should be
able to compete at most FNMs.
Dark Ascension has brought forth quite a few solid deck archetypes. While normal deck types like Mono Red and Delver will remain relatively unchanged, there are other decks that have become far more viable now, mono black no longer has to rely on infect, and yes, the emergence of Sorin of Innistrad has brought forth a new deck entirely. Let's take a look at what this set has brought forth in standard.
For those who don't know what the aggro archetype is, it is a type of deck that has cheap, aggressive creatures, spot removal to get rid of blockers, and a simple, yet effective strategy: turn guys sideways.
