I would like to introduce you to Andreas Ganz. Andy has just recently started to work as the Editor in Chief at Blackborder.com and I want to provide you with some details about him as well as give you some insider information about the upcoming improvements and amazing additions he has planned for Blackborder.com.
About Andy
Andy is a Magic player from Switzerland. He has been playing Magic since 1998 and began playing tournaments in 2002. He is interested in the competition that comes with high level tournament play. Some of Andy's MTG accomplishments include:
- various PTQ Top 8s
- several Grand Prix day 2 appearances with the highest finish being 23 in Stuttgart
- playing Pro Tour London
- becoming vice national champion
- playing Worlds 2005 in Yokohama
- winning team nationals
Andy says, "the achievement that meant the most to me, at least in retrospective, was winning against Kai Budde (the then Roger Federer of Magic) in the decisive round of my first GP playing for day two."
Apart from tournament formats such as Standard, Extended, Vintage and the Limited formats, Andy enjoys playing various alternative formats, such as highlander or cube draft. You might also recognize him because he designed large parts of the latest 5CB deck promoted by Patrick Chapin and played by several pro players at this year's Grand Prix Seattle including his Sygg, River Cutthroat technology.

"In the upcoming weeks and months we will constantly improve your experience at Blackborder.com. We will add new features, special offers and high quality content such as Magic strategy feature articles written by well-known players, though the names are still a secret ;-). Apart from editing all the articles (including user submitted ones) I will also write strategy articles whenever I find the time to do so.
You will have the unique opportunity to write your own Magic articles and decklists or produce your own videos and have them published next to our feature articles and thereby collect a lot of points to spend on a wide (and continually expanding) range of highly attractive things on the site.
