The ways you can earn points are changing slightly. You have now the possibilty to earn a lot of points if you get your content published on the front page next to our feature writers! Below you will find the most important information on how you can earn points on Blackborder.com

How to Get Points
Points can be spent on many benefits and bonuses on Blackborder.com. To earn points, you need to register a username and login. You then get points for activity on the website.
Here is the summary of points earned from different activities.

Rate a comment, video or article | 1 (maximum 10/day) |
Your article/video/pro tournament report is approved by the editor | 500 |
Your article/video/pro tournament report is approved by the editor and promoted to the front page | +1000 (ie. total 1500) |
Your article/video/pro tournament report is approved by the editor and promoted to the front page and featured | +1000 (ie. total 2500) |
Your content receives many positive votes | 25/50 (depending on votes) |
Spamming for Points
If you spam junk content or try to rig voting, we will take your points away. Don’t waste your time.
Tips for Earning Big Points
- Points for posting comments and rating content add up quickly if you visit regularly.
- Rating other content encourages other people by giving them points. This makes them more likely to come back and rate your content.
Spending Points
You can then spend your points on some of the following activities:
Every week we will run various auctions and buy ins. Some of those auctions will be directly attached to our feature articles. Auctions give you the possibility to place bids and the highest bid will win a special feature or privilege.
Here are some of the possible prizes you can win in an auction or buy in (though we will continually add more possibilities):
- Live training sessions with our feature writers (For example on Magic Online, on Magic Workstation or even on Apprentice)
- Coaching from our feature writers
- Training games with Pro players
- Draft coaching
- Live chats with Pro players
- Deck advice and improvement suggestions from feature writers
- and much more
We will also engage more well known players in the near future, though the names are still a secret, therefore you should make sure to collect those points in order to be able to compete for prizes!

Love most of the changes, but I was just wondering about the forums posting points?
Anything you do can be rated. You get points for rating other people's content. If you get a lot of positive rating, you will get 25/50 points. This applies to the forum, too.
