Sejiri Merfolk is considered for Legacy because of its excellent fit into fish decks or Merfolk that splash white.
Infact, I think Slavering Nulls would be receiving way more attention if it was in the colors that fish normally plays. (It will probably make lists for R/b Goblins though).
Heard some people fooling with Comet Storm in Urzatron/Cloudpost builds. But most multikicker cards fall nicely in that niche.
Quicksand was reprinted in 10th edition. So its not new.
I will say that you are 100% on Green. WolfBriar is crazy.
