Kithkin and Faeries are two of the more common decks, and in this video I go over how the matchup tends to play out against these expected opponents.
While it may seem tough to get out a Kelpie against a deck packing Cryptic Command and Broken Ambitions, there are actually a few good tricks I go over that make it much easier.
An interesting new deck based on River Kelpie has made some appearances, so I take an in-depth look at it, including how I would build the main and the sideboard.
Wrapping up our look at Justice Toast, I discuss the sideboard I would go with if I were to PTQ with this deck!
I go over some of the changes I would make to our GP:Denver decklist, as well as including some alternate sideboarding strategies in this two-part series.
Kyle shared an interesting sideboard strategy against Faeries, and one that seems like it could prove useful at a PTQ. That and more as we finish taking a look at an interesting deck from the GP Denver Top 8.
Kyle Bundgaard‘s interesting take on Quick N Toast made Top 8 at Grand Prix Denver, and I have since decided to take a look at how its engine runs.
Paul and I were among the group who chose to play Justice Toast, a group including the eventual winner GerryT. I go over why we arrived at such a deck and some of the changes I would make if I played it again.
With Paul Cheon finishing 3rd at US Nationals, it seems like our testing was successful, and I go over what we did that was productive as well as some recommendations about the state of standard.
Check out the last episode featuring Paul Cheon as we share our thoughts on drafting either mono red or mono white in SSE draft!
